The Stone Age Rock Gym in Manchester, CT has "Ice Holdz" providing indoor ice climbing. This new feature will be open for public use starting Monday 12/12/11. Details are available on their web site www.stoneagerockgym.com. I understand competition ice climbers train on these in the off season. There was a recent "Ice climbing Competition" using this product in Denver, CO and a more recent comp somewhere in Europe. This should be a nice warm up to Connecticut's ice climbing season.
